My journey started by identifying gaps in the market and crafting solutions that could make a real impact. Whether it's building STR Super Cleaners from the ground up or navigating the complexities of scaling a business, entrepreneurship, for me, has been about resilience and the ability to adapt to change. It's about leading with vision, embracing risk, and constantly seeking innovation to drive value—not just for myself, but for my team, clients, and the communities we serve. Ultimately, entrepreneurship is about creating something meaningful that lasts, and finding ways to grow even in the face of adversity.

What sparked the idea for your business, and what was the defining moment that pushed you to start? The idea for STR Super Cleaners was sparked by my own experience as a property investor. Back in 2018, I invested significantly in my first short-term rental property, which seemed perfect in every way—except for one crucial factor: the cleaning. I went through several cleaning services that just didn’t meet the standards I needed to ensure my guests had a top-notch experience. That’s when I realized there was a huge gap in the market—cleaning companies didn’t truly understand the stakes for property owners and the critical role cleanliness plays in guest satisfaction.

The defining moment that pushed me to start STR Super Cleaners was seeing my own investment at risk due to these subpar cleaning services. I knew there had to be a better way, one that combined high-quality cleaning with a deep understanding of the short-term rental industry. I wanted to create a service that property owners could rely on—one that treated their properties with the same level of care as if it were our own. That’s when I decided to take action and build a company that would provide not just a cleaning service, but a comprehensive, guest-ready experience that helps property managers thrive.

What problem does your business solve, and what makes your approach unique in your industry? At STR Super Cleaners, we tackle a major disconnect in the industry: the mindset gap between cleaners and hosts/property managers. Many cleaning companies fail to grasp that the true customer is the guest, not the host. This fundamental misunderstanding leads to missed opportunities to enhance the guest experience and ultimately, the host's reputation. Our approach is different. We operate with a host mindset, understanding that every clean we perform is directly tied to guest satisfaction and positive reviews. We focus on delivering consistent, high-quality service by using bulletproof quality control systems and processes, and real-time communication, ensuring that each property is not just clean, but guest-ready. Our goal is to align with property managers to create seamless, hassle-free turnovers that exceed expectations and drive success for everyone involved.

Entrepreneurship isn’t always easy—how do you stay inspired and keep moving forward? Staying inspired as an entrepreneur, especially through the ups and downs, comes down to my deep sense of purpose and the mission I’ve set for my business. I stay focused by remembering why I started—wanting to provide a level of service that truly makes a difference for property managers and Airbnb hosts. The challenge of growing STR Super Cleaners keeps me motivated, whether it's innovating new solutions, solving problems on the fly, or seeing the impact we have on our clients’ success. I also draw inspiration from the small wins along the way, like receiving a positive client review or finding a way to streamline our processes. Surrounding myself with a dedicated team and continuously learning from my experiences also helps me stay energized and moving forward, even when things get tough. Ultimately, it’s the drive to constantly improve and provide exceptional service that keeps me pushing through.

What’s next for you and your business? Any exciting projects or goals on the horizon? The future is incredibly exciting for both me and STR Super Cleaners. We’re looking at expanding into new markets and scaling our operations to serve even more property managers and Airbnb hosts. There are some key projects in the works, including enhancing our tech stack to improve efficiency and further streamlining our service offerings to provide even greater value to our clients. As we continue to grow, our focus remains on maintaining the high-quality service we’re known for, while expanding our reach and continuing to innovate in the short-term rental space. The next chapter is all about growth, efficiency, and strengthening the relationships we’ve built with our clients.
